Creative Dance and Movement aims to give your child
a passion for music, dance and movement
that they will carry with them for the
rest of their lives!
I am the Director, Founder and Teacher at Creative Dance and Movement.
I am a Professional Dancer that was lucky enough to start dancing at the age of three. Over the years I have studied many disciplines of dance including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballroom, Latin and finally settled with Contemporary dance as my chosen professional style.
I grew up in Sydney, but did my professional training in London. I graduated with a Diploma in Professional Dance Studies at LABAN. In the UK and Australia I primarily taught in primary schools, but soon realised that I was passionate about working with even younger children and started Creative Dance and Movement that teaches 2-5yr olds.
I am very proud of the program that I have developed for this age group and I am passionate about giving the children a love for music and movement that they will hold with them throughout their lives. I feel that Creative Dance and Movement is more than just a dance class, it is an experience they will carry with them forever!

Creative Dance and Movement
I started dance when I was 8 years old and have loved it ever since!
My professional dance career started under the full time training of Anthony IKIN in 2010. I studied several different styles of dance such as commercial jazz, tap, ballroom, ballet, hip-hop, aerobics and acrobatics.
Since graduating from IKIN, I have performed in several film clips with artists such as Marvin priest and I currently dance for the Sydney Roosters cheer squad. I have performed on the ABC network kids show, Giggle and Hoot, and regularly do TV ads for companies such as Woolworths, Samsung and Sky racing. I have had the opportunity to travel Australia performing at festivals, events and movie premieres. Most of my professional work has been primarily in the children?s part of the industry with production work for The Smurfs, The Jungle Book, Ice Age and many other nickelodeon brands.
Aside from my performing career, I have also taught all around Sydney, ranging from the age of 2yrs and up to adults. I have taught in dance studios, primary and high schools and also gyms and Pilate?s studios. I am currently studying part time for a Bachelor of Primary Education.
I am very excited to be part of the Creative Dane and Movement team, as I love nothing more than seeing the enjoyment of young children whilst participating their dance. Witnessing the children?s skills and confidence develop throughout the lesson is what I am passionate about whilst teaching.
I started dancing at the age of 4 in a small country town called Cootamundra in NSW.
At 16 I was accepted into the Australian ballet School and moved from my small country town to the big smoke of Sydney to follow my love of dance.
I stayed with the Australian ballet for 6 months completing the 6 months intensive program. Once in Sydney I discovered that my passion for dance was leading me in a different direction and this was when I started Hip Hop. I completed my certificate IV in performing arts at Brent Street Studios and then went on to complete my diploma in dance at Urban Dance Centre. I have traveled to ABU DHABI on a dance contract performing professionally at resorts and theatres. I have also traveled to London and studied the art of dance.
I have been teaching In Sydney for over 6 years now teach at a number of schools ranging from toddlers to adults.
I have a love and passion for dance that oozes out of me with I teach. I love being able to pass on every little bit of training and experience that I have had in the industry and I am so excited to be apart of Creative Dance and Movement team.
